Terms of Service

Last updated 2 October 2026

These are the rules for using SetBook. They are written to be read, not to be impressive.

Agreeing to these terms

By creating an account or using SetBook, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.

What SetBook is

SetBook is a record-keeping tool for solo beauty professionals. It helps you log appointments and understand what you actually earn. It is not a booking system, it does not process payments, and it is not an accountant or a source of financial advice.

Your account

You need an account to use SetBook. Keep your password to yourself, because you are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be old enough to enter into a contract where you live.

Your data is yours

Everything you enter — appointments, clients, prices, photos — belongs to you. We claim no ownership over it and we do not use it for anything except showing it back to you. You can export all of it at any time.

Using SetBook fairly

Do not use SetBook to break the law, to store data you have no right to hold, to try to reach anyone else’s account, or to disrupt the service. The client data you enter must be data you are entitled to keep — in most places that means telling your clients what you record about them.

Free, and supported by donations

SetBook is free. A one-off donation unlocks the optional extras. It is a donation rather than a subscription, and it is not refundable once the code has been redeemed. Nothing renews automatically, because there is nothing to renew.

Availability

SetBook is provided as-is, without warranty. It is run by one person, so there will be downtime and there may be bugs. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose — the export exists for exactly that reason.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost data or indirect losses arising from your use of SetBook. Nothing here limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

Changes to these terms

These terms may change. The date at the top changes with them, and continuing to use SetBook after a change means you accept it.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Greece, and the courts of Greece have jurisdiction. Questions: hello@mysetbook.com.
